MATERIALS USED TO INSTALL POINTERS

DOUBLE SIDED TAPE
Double sided tape is used on hard surfaces like brick or stone.
The pointers are removed with care and any excess tape is removed from the area upon collection.
We ensure this is done, so if we ever have to install a pointer at that location again, the owner will be pleased that their wall was cleaned.

CABLE TIES
Cable ties are used when we have to install a pointer or a forth coming auction sign on a picket fence. This ensures that the paint will not be affected.
Our staff also ensure that the cable ties are collected upon removing the pointer sign also.

METAL WEDGE PIN
If we come across a fussy owner, that does not want us to use tape/cable ties, we use an alternative method; metal pins that are hammered into the crack of the sidewalk leaning on their fence. Then the sign is screwed into the metal wedge pin.
These metal pins do not touch their wall, and are firmly hammered into the ground.

WOODEN STAKE
In some cases we need to screw the pointer sign into wooden stake as some homes do not have a fence, just an open area.
We firmly hammer the stake into the ground, and are mindful of any pipes or sprinklers, and screw (attach) the pointer onto the stake.
We ensure that they are placed in areas where there is soft soil, and ensure no plants or sprinklers are affected.

NO SCREWS (unless permission is granted)
In most cases we avoid using screws.
The only time we use screws are in places where it may be extremely moist, or in an area that may be hard to reach.
We only screw pointers into a fence, if the owner has given us permission to do so.
